This is a very typical grab that
might happen in any mall parking lot or elsewhere.

Extend your thumb upward and make
a small counterclockwise circle working against the thumb. If the left hand is grabbed it would be a clockwise circle.

Continue circling the hand to break completely
free and run to safety.

This is a same side hand grab.
|
Use the heel of the hand to deliver an
upward thrust to the attacker's chin.
|
Drive the heel of your hand strongly
upward, trying to lift the attacker off his feet. It is not a push, rather a strike.

The elbow is very strong and can deliver
a devastating blow. Note the second hand covering the fist of the first to deliver more power.

A strike to the solar plexus.

An upward strike to the chin.

Attacker has used two hands to grab
arm.
|
Raise knee , turn sideways and drive
foot through attacker's knee.
|
Target a point about six inches behind
the attacker's knee to ensure you deliver an effective kick.
